Since I wasn’t planning to put it tonight/today I’m very surprised myself, but it looks like you’re still getting it. :))

We’re in a ship. And it’s called “Relation”.
At first I thought he wasn’t in the room because there were no sign of anyone being here. As I turned to go back, someone grabbed my leg. It was Nathan, of course. He was sitting on the floor with a pack of beer cans. Some of them were already empty. He looked at me with his eyes hoping I wouldn’t leave. I gave up and sat next to him.
“You know, what you’re doing is childish.” I said giving him the idea, it won’t be easy to get me like that.
“Yeah, well. I’m the baby of the band. I have a full right to act childish.” He shrugged like he didn’t care at all and pulled another can of beer.
“How many of those have you had?” I asked.
“I don’t know. Five or six.” He said drinking again.
“I didn’t come here to see you getting wasted.” I said.” You need to stop.” I took the beer he was holding in his hand and put it away.
“Yeah? And what exactly did you came here for? You’re missing the movie night.” He said pointing at the door.”
“Movie night..” I laughed sarcastically. “You think I came here for a stupid movie night? Please… It’s not like I can’t watch movies alone.”
“Then why are you here?” he looked at me like our conversation was totally random. I guess that’s what the alcohol did to him. He seemed like he didn’t care at all and I was here trying to make this work. I was the only one actually doing something about it.
“I’m here for you, you prick!” I didin’t care if people in the house would hear me. “Because ever since I’ve met you, I can’t stop thinking about you. You made me into this insecure little piece of shit and now I can’t make myself to get back to being me again. You happened to me. You turned everything around and the worst part of it is that I like it, no matter how I act.”
I was probably a bit harsh on him, but that didn’t matter to me. He was drunk enough, so I could go open with him.
“And after I dropped something that I didn’t mean to, you stood there and made me feel like an idiot.”
“Sorry, I disappointed you, but last time I checked we were still in a friend’s zone.”
“Did you ask me if I wanted to be in a friend zone. You just made that in your head. I never heard anything about being more than friends.”
“How can I tell you that when you decide to avoid me?”
“I don’t avoid you. I just don’t want to rush things and ruin them.”
“So appearantly, I’m ruining it now.”
“Well, you kind of are…”
“Oh, shut it.”
I did as I was told. I couldn’t take it anymore. I took beer from the pack and soon emptied the can.
“I thought you said you weren’t a heavy drinker.” he looked like he more pitied the drink than me.
“I thought you weren’t talking to me anymore.” I replied back.
“Haha, good one.” He laughed there just for a second.
“Is this whole thing only an act?” I asked.
“What act?”
“You act like you don’t care and yet, Kelsey and everybody says the opposite.”
“How can they say anything when even I have no idea what’s going on?” He said clearly pissed. not sure if he was pissed on me or anyone else though.
“Oh no. Don’t go there. Don’t act like you’ve no idea what’s going on, because you do know. You’re just too stubborn to admit it to youself.” I was not going to play his game and let everything blame on me.
“You can be such an ass, you know.” He rolled his eyes.
“Well at least I’m being me.. and honest.. and not giving you the wrong impression about what’s happening.” I said and took another beer. He didn’t even stop me. As mad as he was, he still knew I needed it now and deep down I was thankful him for that.
Tom’s POV
“Where are those two anyway? The movie’s almost over.” I asked and turned my head to see as if they were coming here yet.
We saw Nathan getting pack pf beer to the kitchen with himself, then Jules came over to the room assuring us she’ll be back before the movie ends and after that Kelsey and Nareesha got back to watch Avatar for 20th time probably, as Jules had said. I assumed she was with Nathan, but why so long?
“Are those like a thing now or what?” I asked Kelsey’s and she smiled.
“I hope by the end of night they will be. Did you see how Nathan’s staring at her?” she giggled.
“Yeah, almost like he’s staring at a new hat on the store’s shelf.” Max interrupted and I laughed.
“It’s probably best he can’t hear us.” I answered widely smiling.
“I like Jules. She’s cool. Nath has my approval.” Siva said and Nareesha nodded.
“You didn’t hear her in the back yard. She sounded really friendly, right Kels?”
“Yup. She and Nathan are good for each other.” She nodded.
“Yeah, well. But we’re still gonna be a couple no. 1.” I said grinning and kissing her forehead.
“Excuse me.” Michelle finally said something and Max was laughing.
“Guys, you’re ruining this moment for me.” Jay whined and everybody kept their mouths shut for the rest of the movie.
Jules’ POV
“You don’t understand.” He put his hand on the ground and stared at me.
“Then explain me. I have no prove and no clue.” I let out a simple honest answer. He rolled his eyes.
“This is getting riddiculous.” He sighed. I agreed. As much as I probably liked him, this conversation got us nowhere. It was like there was a completely different person sitting right beside me and I didn’t wan’t to say anything anymore.
I let a hard sigh out of me and pulled my phone out of my pocket.
“What are you doing?” He asked and looked at my phone.
“I’m calling Josh, asking if he can pick me up.” I said simply. “Tell others I was sick and went home. I’m not facing anyone right now. Not even for goodbyes.”
“So, are you and Josh and item now?” He asked randomly as I was holding my phone close to my ear.
“Don’t go there. He’s like a brother to me and he probably will be one, sooner or later.” I answered as Josh clearly was busy and not able to pick up his phone. I let out another sigh and put it off.
“Fine. Taxi it is then.” I said to myself as I was looking for a right number. Nathan took my phone out of my hands and place it on the other side of himself.
“What are you doing? Give it back.” I said looking angry and confused at the same time.
“You’re not going anywhere. Don’t be stupid.”
“Don’t be such a baby and give me back my phone.” I said harshly.
“No. Now listen.” He seemed to be determined to do something right now and I had to shut my mouth at least to hear what he has to say.
He moved from the place he was sitting and his body was now facing mine’s. I couldn’t help but stare in his green eyes and I felt my serious look got softer. It was not fair how instantly he could change me from an angry little bitch to this modest and shy girl that wasn’t even able to continue her anger. I was afraid he could hear my heart beat that had enormously risen by now.
“I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did. I shouldn’t have put you through all of this. I don’t blame you if you want to leave, but don’t do it just now. The guys over there.. They really like you. And so do I. It would be pity to see you leave right now and it would suck knowing that I’ve lost you forever. So how about we start everything again right after I get sober.” He was talking really calmly and some of the words I could barely hear. Yes, he was that drunk, but he also was being very honest and the honesty was so fragile that he couldn’t say anything without thinking about it twice.
“I can’t.” I said making his eyes look at me with a dissapointment. “I’m waaay passed that hugs-and-hand-holding stage.” I admitted and before he even could realise what I have said, I pulled my body closer to his, wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned for a kiss. He didn’t even bother to stop me as he leaned as well just a bit. Our noses touched and before our lips met, I felt him smiling.
It was a moment I could not describe. It felt good to be so close to someone and I couldn’t force myself to pull away from him even though I was the one holding onto him. Our lips moved together as I felt a heat filling up my face. I was definitely blushing, but I decided to get rid of it by breathing heavily and concentrating only on our kiss.
He was the one to pull away his face from me and I bit my lower lip with a slight concern in my face. I probably did something bad.
“Your phone is ringing.” He said simply and I looked at it. He was right and I didn’t even notice it. “Do you want to answer? It’s Josh.” He looked at the caller’s ID and then quickly turned his eyes to me with the look that made me melt inside.
“I’ll make some story for him tomorrow. Leave it.” I said. Of course, that meant a lot more than just a postponed phone call. Josh was like my ticket to get home tonight and by saying no to him, I also agreed to stay here.
“You’re ready to go?” I asked and pointed to the door and the lads.
“Not quite yet.” He grinned as he leaned to kiss me one more time. “Now I’m good to go.”
I laughed sincerely over there and stood up on my feet. I swear, I wasn’t that drunk, but I was a bit loosing my balance over there. Not sure it was from beer, though. I helped Nathan to stand up, tossed his arm over my shoulder and we both walked into the living room.
When the lads saw us, they all had different faces raised up I couldn’t imagine telling out loud was what going on back in the kitchen, so I chose to joke around.
“I swear that boy has never tasted beer before. Couple of cans and he’s drunk.” I rolled my eyes.
“Nicely done.” Nathan whispered in my ear and we both giggled.
“We usually switch his drink into a non-alcoholic one.” Jay laughed.
“Yeah, and most of the time he can’t tell the difference. It’s fun to see him faking to be drunk.” Max joined.
I dropped Nathan on the couch and he pulled me over himself, so I fell on his lap.
“What are we watching anyway?” He asked and looked to the screen while I just sat there with my elbow resting on his shoulder.
“Well, while you two lovebirds were pretty busy, we finished Avatar and now we’re watching.. What exactly are we watching, Kels?” Tom raised his eyebrows to his girlfriend who seemed to be really into the movie.
“Shh…” She shut him, putting an hand over his mouth.
“Yes, we’re watching The Adventures of Shh.” Siva laughed.
“I’m starving. Is there any pizza left?” I asked. Somebody pointed me to the table and I had to stand up to get it.
“You’re going nowhere.” Nathan said loud enough, so everybody could turn at us.
“What’s happening between you two, exactly?” Max was the first one to ask the question that was bothering all of them.
“We’re in a ship. And it’s called “Relation”. Get it?” Nathan giggled out of his own joke and looked me in the eyes.
“He’s drunk. He’s definitely drunk.” Everybody were laughing and I slapped his arm. “Could you behave?” I giggled as well as Nath tried to make a “sorry” face.
“I won the bet!” Suddenly, Kelsey didn’t care about the movie at all. “Give me my prize, Parker!” She was pretty excited about something that neither Nathan, nor I had idea about.
“What bet?” I asked, because Nathan didn’t care at all. He was only staring at me and that was creeping me out a little.
“I bet him, that before the night is over, you guys will be exposed as a couple!” She smiled widely.”Pay it, Parker.” She turned to Tom and faced his frowny face.
“Don’t you want to wait untill.. you know. We get upstairs.” He was playing careful on purpose, while everybody knew what they were talking about and after Kelsey shut her mouth Jay went all “eeeww.. get a room” and then everybody’s look was again turned on us.
“I ship those two so bad!” I shook my head laughing and everybody followed me.
The rest of the night went as usual movie night. We’ve watched two more movies and decided to call it an evening.
Since Nathan wasn’t completely himself, I got over the room to ask Jay’s if I could crash on the couch.
“Don’t be silly. Nath will be more than happy to share his king-sized bed with you.” He shrugged and I smiled. Yes, I knew his king-sized bed from the other night. I also knew he had a matress somewhere in case I changed my mind and decided to leave him to sleep alone.
“Sharing a bed with a drunk boy. Yup. That definitely sounds fun.” I rolled my eyes and went back to Nathan, who greeted me with his arms wide open.
“So, you’re staying?” He asked me.
“Appearantly.” Was my response and I hugged him for a few seconds.”Let’s go. You need a shower and so do I.”
“Together?” He giggled.
“Not gonna happen.” I smiled and we both walked upstairs.
He just shrugged.
“Yet.” Was the only thing he said before opening the door of his room.

I have to admit I made Nathan into something that I even don’t like, but I promise he’ll be more like himself in next chapters.
